 The Academic Excellence
Indicator System (AEIS) pulls together a wide
range of information on the performance of
students in each school and district in Texas
every year. This information is put into the
annual AEIS reports, which are available each year
in the fall.

 The
Federal NCLB Accountability system was released
December 14 and all Terrell campuses and our
district met the AYP standards. The federal
evaluations are based on:
• Participation and
passing rates on state mathematics and reading/English
language arts tests for grades 3-8 and 10;
•
Graduation rates for high schools and districts; and
• Attendance rates for elementary and middle schools.
